About the Tsunami Computational Portal

The Tsunami Computational Portal (TCP) is made available as a service to researchers engaged in developing and comparing numerical models of tsunami generation, propagation, and inundation. It is intended for research purposes only.

Models are contributed to TCP by their original developers and will be undergoing further development; they may not be accurate or complete. Descriptions of the models are available from the "1.Model" tab. The models included in the current implementation are: Additional models are being incorporated and should be available within a few month.

TCP also makes use of geospatial information that has been provided by independent groups. The data were collected or developed for the groups. own purposes, and may not be accurate or complete. All metadata provided by the contributing group is available from the "3. Sub Grids" tab. Current data includes: Additional datasets were derived by combining GEBCO and NOAA CRM data, using the GMT mapping tools.
